Torrance California Jan 2006. The air was
clean. Dry. Until we showed up. Then it was
filled up with smoke. Only the hard core
showed up. Posers not needed at the
powerfest. Only if you can hold it wide open
with no fear of seizing it up. Whiners not
needed to show up either..... For those that
did not show up, see you next time!
The main challenge was Mr. Skufkis wanting to
beat the ol R5 and prove to the world that he
has hair on his chest. On the way to the site,
um... the R5 was in front at 120MPH... Read
on.

things and be the extra weight on the
back of the bikes. Because of that, I
have no pictures of the RD400 and
Skufkis' bike in action. Before I knew
it, we were on the RTZ. This bike Had
some things done to it and Steve
seized the opportunity to make some
adjustments to the carbs. In the end, it
made an amazing 68 engine HP. MB

Oh, by the way, This is almost the winner of the powerfest. He had a measly 71 engine HP. So, can you explain why it cant catch me? |
| Mr Zero himself had to show how it is really done. He pulled his RZ out from moth balls and fired it up. Threw it on the dyno and did a demo run. We were watching the needle go up and up and up and up and up. It seemed like it would never stop. Eyes turned round. Over 80HP out of the engine. Stock porting!!!! Now explain that! And that sound! MAN!!! That is AWESOME!!!! So Naturally MB Steve and Skufkis had to Spy and look at the bike in detail. Did ya steal any thing useful? Any Top Secret info? |

Back on the Dyno. After a few main jet changes, I got a
end result of 55.5 HP out of the crankshaft. Not too bad
but can be more. Actually it was about what I expected
since it has old school pipes and a stock engine. Not too
shabby. Now it picks up the front wheel in second gear! I
will post the official results when I get back in touch with
them bastards. Now for them other people that did not
come. What is your excuse for not showing up? Had to
wash your hair? A Dyno will give you a reality check. Your
but dyno is only in your head....Who is up for a dyno run
for the Hansen dam event!??!?!?!
